CAN MY VIRTUAL ASSISTANT WORK ON HOLIDAYS, WEEKENDS, OR AFTER-HOURS?
Yes and No. While we try not to work on holidays or weekends, we know that some fields of businesses never sleep (Real Estate agents, we see your schedule!). We will share our schedules with each client a month in advance so you will have time to communicate any "extra" times you may need us. As with any business or employee, last minute things do come up that we will need to step away for. In those cases, we will work after-hours to get your tasks completed as quickly as possible.
CAN MY VIRTUAL ASSISTANT HELP ME FILE MY TAXES?
We can not. We can help enter items into an accounting program however, we are not licensed to file taxes. If you need us to find some options in your area or accountants that work remotely, let us know!
WILL I MEET MY VIRTUAL ASSISTANT IN PERSON?
Tricky Question. We started this firm so we can help other business owners grow while we juggle family and home schedules. Depending on your physical location, we may be able to meet in person when a phone call, text, email or video chat won't do. We do consider drive time and meeting time in your hourly rate or package. However, we hardly ever turn down an excuse to try a local coffee shop!
HOW WILL I BE BILLED?
We will send you a general contract for services with your specific payment options. Some services will require a deposit or a package to be purchased prior to services beginning. Certain hourly services can be billed once tasks have been completed. We can accept check and cash. CashApp and Venmo can be accepted as well. Apps and online payments may have a service fee added, not to exceed the fee that we are charged.
HOW WILL WE COMMUNICATE?
We prefer to communicate through email, text or chat. We have Google Chat, What'sApp and good ol' fashion text! Any phone consults or video consults will have a follow up email so we have a record of our tasks and a call recap.
WHY WAS I CHARGED A CONSULTATION FEE?
We like to dedicate as many hours a day to our clients. Task and time management are two things we strive to excel in. Charging a consultation fees allows us to prepare for our call and send all necessary pre call paperwork without rushing. We like to look at your website, social media and any other prep you would like to do. Once you decide to use TopShelf services, we will credit your consultation fee to your 1st package or hourly invoice.
